Robots on Beach - Fiorucci
ROBOTS - 26 7/8” x 18 7/8”
A caricature of 70’s artificial intelligence? A prescient view of what was to come? Or simply an interplanetary gathering of worker robots on their daily rambles and routines - and still making time to walk the dog. [Designer: B. Vappiani, February 1979]
*No pinholes/tape, no folds, stored flat
The world famous Italian fashion brand was founded in 1967 by Elio Fiorucci. By the late 1970's and early 1980's the stores would become famous for the fashions introduced in The United States. In the early 1980's, the Fiorucci boutiques in New York City and Los Angeles were the epicenter of The New Wave Post Modern fashion scene.
These rare out of print original vintage Fiorucci posters were printed in Italy and have been in a private Toronto collection for decades. Despite the thin and shiny paper typical for this era, the posters are in good vintage condition consistent with age, use, and signs of handling. We’re happy to field any serious enquiries so please be in touch.
